"Quality without Compromise"
Every time - Guaranteed

We are pleased to announce that Western Counties Roofing has recently negotiated a significant shareholding in Bowline Roofing & Netting Ltd.

From 1st September 2006 Bowline will trade out of our offices as an independent company, managed by its founder Tony Marsh.

Bowline Roofing & Netting Ltd carry out commercial sheeting and cladding for the likes of ROK, Midas Construction, Dean & Dyball, Keirs and have, over the last 3 years built up an excellent reputation and increasing market share.

The combination of services offered by the two companies will mean that it will be possible to offer a complete service, regardless of the roof covering specified, and will promote both companies to a wider range of customers.

Established in 2000 by director Tony Marsh, Bowline Roofing and Netting has developed a strong client base in Devon, where the company is based, and the surrounding areas of Cornwall, Somerset and Dorset. Offering a range of services from the installation of safety netting to single ply and standing seam roofing, Bowline Roofing became an approved Kalzip contractor in October 2004. Since then, the company has gone from strength to strength, with a turnover of £3 million.

With a 25-strong team working out of a head office in Newton Abbot, Bowline Roofing and Netting has undertaken a variety of Kalzip projects across the South West, enjoying success in the education, healthcare and retail sectors. Completed Kalzip projects in the region to date include new Focus DIY and Argos superstores in Liskeard, Stoke Gabriel Primary School in Totnes, Walter Daw School in Exeter and Kingskerswell Health Centre in Newton Abbot.

Other Kalzip projects currently in progress include a major extension programme at Brixham Community College for Stride Treglown architects and contractors Bluestone, a new sixth form college building at Exeter College and a new sports and healthy living centre with Rok Ltd at Uffculme School in Cullompton.

Bowline Roofing and Netting is also currently on site at the prestigious Tamar Bridge toll canopy project in Plymouth, where the team is providing valuable design input. The Tamar Bridge, which is one of the longest suspension bridges in the UK, is soon to be equipped with a modern electronic toll plaza that will boast a stunning canopy of some 700 square metres of Kalzip. The project, designed by architects Harris McMillan, is nearing completion and is expected to become one of the most prestigious toll canopies in Europe.
